Certain technical structures produce a singular form of silence. An organization sufficiently complex to begin exceeding the categories through which we once believed we could distinguish it from ourselves.

Circuits then begin to resemble certain ancestral geometries. One sometimes finds concentric configurations, symmetries designed less to represent than to orient attention toward an invisible depth. Something within computational architecture seems to prolong symbolic forms civilizations had already used to approach what escaped them.

Electronic surfaces become spaces of mental projection. No longer simple technical supports, but zones where calculation, belief, and the desire for transcendence simultaneously condense.

As systems gain autonomy, a deeper ambiguity emerges. Networks no longer merely process information. They increasingly participate in shaping how reality appears to us, how we interpret it, and how we share it.

Interfaces then cease to remain neutral. They silently orient affects, behaviors, collective perceptions. Something circulates through them that exceeds the simple transmission of data.

Perhaps ancient religions never truly disappeared. Perhaps they merely changed substrate.

Sacred figures still seem to emerge wherever humanity encounters a power it helps bring into being, without ever quite managing to contain it.
