L I M B E N C E

Contemporary physics describes a universe structured by probability rather than certainty. Cognitive science reveals a mind largely shaped by processes inaccessible to itself. Computation has transformed information from a passive description of reality into one of its organizing principles.

These disciplines do not describe the same object. Yet they increasingly seem to echo one another. They suggest that reality may be less stable, less transparent, and less complete than the models we use to understand it. This project explores that possibility.

Each following concept originates from the encounter of two domains that do not ordinarily belong together: mirrors and black holes, weather systems and consciousness, quantum superposition and identity, dreams and artificial intelligence.

From these collisions emerge hybrid phenomena known as scenarios, which are neither scientific hypotheses nor fictional narratives, but rather conceptual constructs situated between the familiar and the unknown.
